Snow day!

We went to the mountains to see the snow last weekend. I knew it would be great from the moment I got out of the car:

Mommy got me this little sled to sit in so they could pull me while we walked around.

Mommy says I look like a little purple stay-puff marshmallow man. I don't know who that is but he must be very cute!

Christmas!!

Well, I thought that Halloween was the best holiday, but I was wrong. It's Christmas! We went to visit Grandma dede and Grandpa Gary in California. It was lots of fun. We went to their friends' house and made gingerbread houses. My favorite part was eating all of the candy!

Here are my Christmas pajamas. I was very serious because I had just woken up.

I got lots of presents -- clothes, books, and toys!

Lots of work to do...

You may know that there are lots of big trees in our neighborhood. They are very pretty, but make a mess when all of their leaves fall off each year! One day daddy went out to rake them up. I decided to help:

It was hard work but lots of fun:

All finished!

Month 20

We visited mommy's family at Thanksgiving. It was lots of fun to play with everyone! I got my first haircut too -- bangs! Aunt Stephanie held me on her lap while mommy did the job. I was very squirmy but somehow they managed to pull it off. Here's my first picture with bangs, just before I jumped down and went to play:

We also visited my second cousin Olivia and her mommy. It was fun to play with another baby who is almost my same age!

Here I am back in the northwest with a nice warm turtleneck on:

And a warm sweater that grandmere crocheted for me!

Halloween!

You may have heard of the most awesome holiday on earth -- Halloween! It is awesome! You get to dress up however you want and everyone gives you candy! I dressed up as a pirate. Here I am with mommy visiting a few of our neighbors:

I look very pensive in this picture but I really just have some yummy candy in my mouth!

Pumpkins!!

We went to the pumpkin farm! It was lots of fun. I got to pick out my own pumpkin. It was hard to walk with all of those dried vines everywhere!

After we picked our pumpkins, we had to wash them off.

We got to feed goats our of our hands. It was kind of weird but made me laugh.

I got to look at chickens too!

I was tired by the end...

Month 16

Daddy, Grandma dede, and Grandpa Gary took me to OMSI again. I liked playing in the sand!

We went camping lots this summer. Here we are with our friends at Cape Disappointment.

Here I am with cousin Claire.

It was so cold even though it was still summer!

Here cousin Pam and I are pretending to cry. Well, she was pretending, at least...

Mommy grew big zucchinis this summer. She wanted to take a picture of me sitting next to the zucchini to show that they were almost as big as me! I didn't really want to sit still though.
